BASE didn't start in a boardroom. It started in carpool lines, therapy waiting rooms, and late-night text threads.
We're Rachell and Shanaé, two moms of children with autism, and two people who know what it feels like when care coordination falls apart. Between us, we've juggled therapists, schools, IEP meetings, and the endless handoffs that come with co-parenting across two households. We've lived the worry that someone important didn't get the update, and the exhaustion of repeating the same story to every new caregiver.
Shanaé also built and runs a special-needs and autism transportation company, so she has spent years watching families struggle with the same thing: it's not just the appointments; it's the people. The aides, grandparents, therapists, teachers, and drivers who all love the same child but rarely have one shared place to stay aligned.
We started BASE because we wished something like this had existed for our own families. A single, calm, trustworthy home base where every caregiver can see the whole child, not just their corner of the schedule.
